Each month I like to spend a few hours working on something different. I work with models and MUAs to collaborate on images we can all use on our social media platforms, website portfolios, send to agencies and magazines etc.

1. How do these sessions run?

You review the projects, pick out 3 images, complete the form and done!  If either of us know an MUA we would like to work with on the project then he/she is welcome to join us. Same applies to a hair stylist. Some project may have 2 models working at the same time – one in make-up whilst the other is shooting.

Please treat this as a job. Be on time, clothes cleaned and pressed and ready to work. If you are running late, get in-touch. If I don’t hear from you after 15 minutes, I’ll assume you’re not going to show up and I’ll move onto another project / close the studio or, if there is a 2nd model, I’ll work with him/her for the remainder of the time.

2. How long are the sessions?

Typically 2 to 3 hours or more. I provide snacks and refreshments on the day.

3. What do I bring?

If you’re a model, wardrobe choices will be discussed beforehand but the project should give you a good idea of what we need.

4. What do I get?

Typically we do 3 looks, and each participant gets to pick 6 images (2 per look). Your images are generally edited and sent within 2-3 weeks.

5. What can I do with my images.

Anything you like including uploading them to social media, personal web sites, agencies, magazine submissions and fan based websites – all good and if you need me to verify copyright, I’m happy to do so. The only thing I ask models/muas not to do is to re-edit the image.

6. Escorts

Sorry, if you need someone to come with you then these projects are not for you. They are welcome of course to drop you off and check out the studio but they can’t stay. There’s a Tims / Burlington Mall around the corner. Unfortunately I have had escorts talking over me to give the model instructions, I’ve had phones being used to play games/watch videos/record BTS / and so on; I’ve had escorts pace about the studio which is incredibly distracting. If any of this makes you feel uncomfortable, you can stop by the studio (just contact me and we’ll set up a time) and have a chat or you can simply decline to work with me.  Alternatively contact any of the models on my IG feed and ask about their experience. Like I said, I do this full-time and it’s work. I respect your decision, maybe we can work together in the future.

7. I’m interested, what next?

I know all the above sounds a bit serious, but I want you to know exactly what you’re getting for your time and effort. No miscommunication, no misunderstandings, no disappointments. Let’s get to work!
