We run a monthly free session for models and actors.
Each month we like to spend a few hours working on some creative / portfolio projects. For these projects we like to collaborate with local models, actors, make-up artists etc. If you would be interested in working with us read below for more details, current projects and contact form.
1. How do these sessions run?
Pretty straightforward. Think of them like any other studio session, except there are no fees or payments involved. We are all working together to help each other’s portfolios and careers. You pick a session from the list below, fill out the form and I’ll contact you. I can only run one of these sessions per month so if I’m already discussing the opportunity with someone else, it might be taken.
2. How long are the sessions?
Typically 3 hours or more. Please be punctual and professional. If you’re running behind, please let us know (text, call). I typically wait up to 15 minutes after the start of the session without any notification, after that I assume you’re a no-show and close the studio. We are all professionals and I treat this like any other session (paid or not).
3. What do I bring?
If you’re a model, wardrobe choices will be discussed beforehand. Make-up artists should bring their regular kit.
4. What do I get?
Typically we do 3 looks, and each participant gets to pick 6 images (2 per look). Your images are generally edited and sent within 2-3 weeks.
5. What can I do with my images.
Anything you like including uploading them to pay sites (such as Patreon, OnlyFans, etc.), social media, personal web sites, agencies, magazine submissions – all good and if you need me to verify copyright, I’m happy to do so. I ask participants not to re-edit images.
5. I’m interested, what next?
Have a look at our current project list. Use the contact form below to get in-touch if you’re interested. We need to review your portfolio. Although we like to work with new models and actors, we still need to see some previous work (non-selfies) to show us that you know what you’re doing, have worked with other photographers and are serious about developing your potential.
